What do Challenger Volunteers do?
Challenger volunteers are vital to the success of this program. We must be well organized and staffed to provide a fun and SAFE experience for these incredible children and young adults.
We need all of the eyes, ears and hugs out on the field that we can get! Please fill out the forms below and email or mail to Challengers to start helping today!
Please eMail Info@GoChallengers.org with any problems registering as a volunteer.
|Coaches & Assistant Coaches
||Help athletes learn and enjoy the game. Our program offers direct interaction with athletes, and a chance to make a difference in their lives. You do not have to be a sports professional - we provide the training.
||Plan or participate in fundraising activities that benefit Challengers's special needs participants.
||Involve your company or civic organization in a state or local sports event by providing volunteers or donating equipment or services.
||Help organize sporting events and other activities for our athletes.
||Assist coaches with organizing the players on the field. Play catch with the players, and help them fun the bases.
||Use your skills to help train our special athletes.
||Assist in our office various administrative tasks one day per week, or help support us from home by developing flyers, writing press releases, etc... to help us organize and market our program.
||Assist at games and/or practice by setting out equipment. Coordinate special needs or requests.
||Communicate with team parents to provide snacks, trophies and parties. Contact players who have missed a few games and encourage them to come and play.
|Photo & Video Coordinator
